We believe in relationships
Technology helps us overcome distances for most part of our work, yet we believe that true human relationships need a shared space outside of the virtual.
This is why we invite our community to a shared moment for learning and relationship once a year.
OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE FOR TRAINERS
Every year, usually at the beginning of summer, we hold our Annual Conference. It’s a cherished opportunity to deepen learning while nurturing relationships among our community.
Our first Annual Conference was held in the Alpine region of Trentino, Italy, in 2019. It was the first of many moments that we shard with our growing community.
The challenging covid years have forced us to connect only remotely. In 2020 and 2021 we truly missed the opportunity to meet everyone in person, but at the same time we grew through the difficulties and found unexpected ways to feel close through the screens (some lucky ones, sworn to anonymity, will remember the most exhilarating of online Zumba lessons) and to share incredibly rich content.
From 2022 we chose to still gratefully use the great service provided by technology that allows us to invite a great array of speakers but we also hold one day in person, for extra learning, shared reflection and let's not forget... fun!
Our 2023 conference will take place from 10th June until 17th June. There are two in-person days, on in London (10th) and one in Reggio Emilia, Italy (17th). Between the 12th and 15th, we will be hosting lots of interviews with renowned neuroscientists and other wonderful partners on our online platforms.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
As a BabyBrains® Trainer, you can expect to be an independent professional but also always feel part of a true community.
As a community with a shared mission to, well, change the world, we truly believe that nourishing relationships among us is key.
Human touch, human gaze and sharing both serious reflection and fun are all tools for making work and life more enjoyable but also more impactful.
We look for information and inspiration with regard to perinatal development and we identifying resources and approaches related to the perinatal time that can be empowering for our community.
Our Annual Conference is a moment where experts from different academic fields join forces in an effort to disseminate science to the general public.
It is also a great opportunity for our Trainers to get new scientific evidence related to the BabyBrains workshops for parents, so that our content is always up-to-date.
We spend one day together, listening to academic speakers but also sharing debates and new tools that can then inform the community's approach in having an impact on young families globally.
"It's been a wonderful day. Technology let me train, but now I really feel part of a community!"
Elida Bursic Vitasovich,
