Service Description

Our CPD-accredited training offers perinatal professionals precious insight into babies' brain development and maternal wellbeing, as well as a unique set of effective and empowering parent-education tools. Our course is: - Designed by a neuroscientist and mum of 3, Silvia Dalvit-Menabe; - Endorsed by eminent neuroscientists (see "our team" page); - Ideal for midwives, health visitors, psychologists and all early year educators. Training takes place online and the content of the workshops is as follows: 1. How to establish good family habits (based on the neuroscience of Memory) 2. How to deal with the feeling of manipulation (based on the Theory of Mind) 3. How to understand separation anxiety (based on Object Permanence) 4. How to encourage language development and support bilingualism (based on Linguistics) 5. How to discipline your children (Based on the Neuroscience of Motivation) 6. How to encourage healthy independence: (Based on Attachment Science) Monday 26/02: 7.30-9.30 PM: Memory & Theory of Mind Monday 04/03: 7.30-9.30 PM: Anxiety & Language Monday 11/03: 7.30-9.30 PM: Discipline & Attachment Monday 18/03: 7.30-9.30 PM: Training part 1 Monday 25/03: 7.30-9.30 PM: Training part 2 Monday 01/04: 7.30-9.30 PM: Training part 3 *all times in GMT HOW IT WORKS: 1. "The Scientist in the Crib" by Alison Gopnick and Colleagues. 2. Attend the online training. 3. Pass the test and spread the L.O.V.E.!
